After perusing the web site of my local NBC station, 11alive, I’ve pulled some sample sizes for you to try–and no caloric restriction required to slip into it!
Three French Kisses:
LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) — The trainer of euthanized filly Eight Belles adamantly defended the way jockey Gabriel Saez handled the Kentucky Derby runner-up.
In an interview with The Associated Press on Monday, Larry Jones said Saez applied the whip only to prevent Eight Belles from crashing into the rail.
“This filly in every race has tried to drift toward the rail,” Jones said. “It’s her comfort zone, and Gabriel knows this. This kid made every move the right move, and I hate it that they’re wanting to jump down his throat. He did not try to abuse that horse to make her run faster. He knew he was second best, that she wasn’t going to catch Big Brown.”

Two Turtle Necks:
LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. — Atlanta Falcons linebacker Michael Boley is free on bond after being arrested on a charge of battery on his wife early Saturday morning, Gwinnett County police officials said Monday.
Officers were called to Boley’s home in Duluth about 1:30 a.m. Saturday to investigate a domestic violence call. According to a police report, Boley and his wife had a verbal argument that escalated when Boley became physical with her.

ATLANTA (AP) — An investigator with the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s office says the Georgia Tech baseball player found dead in his apartment on April 11 died accidentally of morphine toxicity.
She said she could not provide the toxocology report, only the cause and manner of death. She would only identify herself as Investigator Galloway, medical examiner No. 25.
