This entry was inspired by thirty minutes of watching television over the weekend.  Home of the Brave (Irwin Winkler, 2006) was on either ION or myATLtv and I started thinking about the Jessica Biel works I’ve seen in their entirety or in snippets.

Do you see a pattern?

Ensemble films!

Aside from Summer Catch from a narrative standpoint, has Jessica Biel been in a non-ensemble cast film?

I consider these films to be ensemble cast because Biel’s character is part of a trio.  I look forward to her starring in a movie where she carries the story and any recognizable supporting actors have a combined total of twenty screentime minutes.  A buddy-road trip picture perhaps.

And here’s the Christmas creme brulee.

I can’t imagine a happier sounding, more upbeat declaration of distaste and disgust.

For who wouldn’t want utterly trivial matters to pursue?  And thoughts to hold captive with only eight minutes of fresh air time a day?

And who wouldn’t marvel at the bracketed and underscored arsenal at the disposal of fine men?

And for koalas and their stupefying sound effects.  Who knew?

FYI: the Falcons lost to the Saints in overtime on Sunday.  I did not watch the game.

Guy 1 reminded me of Tom Hardy and Sam Worthington.  Imagine Hardy’s features on Worthington’s face.

They clapped whenever the Gators got another ten yards and applauded every flag on South Carolina. I wouldn’t have been surprised if they ended up cheering every time a Cardinal got an aesthetically unflattering televised close-up.

Guy 1 said at one point, “You ain’t Tebow.”
Guy 2 barked, “Oh come on!” after the Gators quarterback got sacked either at the bottom of the third quarter or the top of the fourth.  (Their beloved reptiles eventually lost to the birdies by just five points.)

The occupants of table 2 were at Taco Mac for the UGA-Auburn game and talked about the state of Penn.  As of the bottom of the second quarter, the Tigers have a lot of catching up to do in the second half.

I over heard a young girl saying to her friend, “She looks just like my Barbie!”

The store was actually open last night too.

The ladies’ lounge.  The furnishings were pretty and the decor tasteful.  I wonder how long it will take before the cushions get stained and dusty; or whether or not there’d be any considerations of creating restrooms on the downstairs too.  So far there’s only one place a customer can go to wash hands or attend to callings of nature.
