PEMDAS and Great Spaghetti

Is there one for having a high or low tolerance level/threshold for pain? I can never
remember which one means a person cannot handle a lot of pain.  If Juarez could
tolerate colder temperatures than Thumbelinana, would I say that he has a higher
or lower threshold for the cold?

NESW = never eat slimy worms

      North, East, South, West.

I never learned that one in school. I did, however, learn one where you pointed to each direction while saying it aloud. For instance, “North” (point up), “South” (point down), “East” (point to your right), “West” (point to your left).

The cardinal directions in Mandarin I learned ESWB and EWSN.
With ESWB, one would start at east and think clock-wise until hitting North. With EWSN, one says “Dong Xi” (East, West), which sounds like the word for “thing”, making it easy to remember which is East and which is West.

For a long time I couldn’t remember which one was north.
